This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to create a project on FundMe.
Select Investment Type
Log in to your FundMe account by going to https://www.fundme.com/en/users/sign_in
Click on the project creation direct link that was sent to you via email.
Select the Investment Type you will be offering.
Create an Entity Profile
After selecting the Investment Type, you will be redirected to the Entity Profile Page.
- Enter your Company Name
- Click Create Profile
Complete Profile
Clicking Create Profile will navigate you to the profile setup page.
- Complete your profile information
- Fill in all required fields*
- Click Submit
Create Offering - Basic Info
The first section of your project offering is the Basic Info section.
- Fill in all the required fields*
- Enter a Project Title
- Select the Category
- Choose the Start and End Dates
Create Offering - Image/Video
The second section of your project offering is the Image/Video section.
- At least one image or video is required.
- To upload a video link, simply enter the URL of your video in the Video Link field.
- To upload an image, click the Upload Image button. (3 Max)
- Once the image has uploaded, select the desired area of the image, and click the Crop button.
- To upload a second or third image, click the Upload Image button again, select the desired area of the image, and click the Crop button.
*Note: For best quality, we recommend you use an image size of at least 1024x576 px. We recommend you use a 16:9 ratio for maximum compatibility.
Create Offering - Offering Overview
The third section of your project offering is the Offering Overview section.
- Website
- Enter the URL of your main content site.
- Address
- Enter the address of where you are located. Putting an address in this field will cause a map to be displayed on the public project page.
- Executive Summary*
- This is a 200 character teaser that will display when the project is shared using our built in social sharing options.
- Business Plan*
- This description will be displayed on the front of the project page when users first arrive under the default Project Overview tab. Using rich text, you can add all the necessary public facing information to this area, including images, and links as well.
- Use of Proceeds*
- Let your investors know what their investment is going towards in a detailed breakdown
- Ownership Structure & Rights of the Securities*
- Please provide a detailed breakdown of the ownership of the company, and information regarding the rights of the securities.
- Risk & Disclosures*
- This is where you will provide the investor with information regarding the risks involved with investing, and your disclosure.
- Previous Funding
- Let your investors know if you have had any previous funding for your project, and highlight what you have done with any previous funding.
*Note: Any section that is marked with an asterisk (*) is a required field.
Create Offering - Funding Settings
Once you have completed the Offering Overview section, the fourth section of the project offering is setting up your preferred funding settings.
- Available Shares*
- Share Price*
- Minimum Payment*
- This is the minimum payment amount per investment, if greater than share price. Leave blank if you don’t want to manually set a minimum.
- Minimum Raise*
- This is the amount that must be raised in order for the project to be considered successful.
- Target*
- This is the amount that your offering would optimally be looking to raise. Once reaching the target, your project will display as being 100% funded.
- Maximum Raise*
- This is the maximum amount that can be invested in this project, calculated as Available Shares x Share Price. This may be the same as or greater than the Target Raise. This amount cannot be greater than $1,070,000.00. Once this amount is reached, the project will close successfully, and no longer be open for investments.

Create Offering - Documents
The fifth section of your project offering is the Documents section. This section of your project offering is required.
- Upload financial reports and any other relevant documents.
- Documents will appear in the order you upload them, so the first upload will be a the top of the document list, and the last will be at the bottom.
To upload a document:
- Click the Upload Document button to select the document you would like to upload.
- Enter a Document Title
- Enter a Description
- Click the box if PPM is required.
To delete the document you uploaded, click the Remove Document button.
To add an additional document, click the +Add Document button.
Create Offering - Additional Information
The sixth section of your project offering is the Additional Information section. This section of your project offering is not required.
We highly suggest taking full advantage of everything FundMe has to offer! Having more information and content can often better resonate with potential investors.
In the Additional Information section, it includes areas for:
- KPIs
- Press Mentions
- Advisors
- Key Customers & Partners
- Testimonials
Create Offering - Team
The seventh section of your project offering is the Team section. This section of your project offering is not required.
We highly suggest taking full advantage of everything FundMe has to offer! Having more information and content can often better resonate with potential investors.
In the Team section, it includes areas for:
- Team Motto
- This is a 250 character motto that will display above the Team Members section of your project offering.
- Team Members
To add a team member:
- Click the +Add Team Member button
- Upload the team member's photo by clicking the Choose File button.
- Recommended image size is 300x300.
- Enter the team member's Name, Job Title, & Bio.
- Enter the URL for the team member's LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook if desired.
To remove the team member, click the Remove Team Member button.
To add an additional team member, click the +Add Team Member button.
Create Offering - Social Media
The eighth section of your project offering is the Social Media section. This section of your project offering is not required.
We highly suggest taking full advantage of everything FundMe has to offer! Having more information and content can often better resonate with potential investors.
In the Social Media section, it gives you the capability to add Social Media Links for:
- YouTube
- Google+
- Skype
- Telegram
Enter the URL in the field next to the desired social media link.
Create Offering - Final Disclosure
The final section of your project offering is the Final Disclosure section. This section of your project offering is required.
- Be sure to carefully read through the final disclosure.
- The final disclosure applies to the Issuer, any Officer, Director, or Major Shareholder (owner of 20% or more).
- After reading through the disclosure you will select either None Apply or Yes.
- If you marked yes, you will need to provide an explanation in the field provided below.
*Note: Your explanation will be reviewed.
Once you have selected your answer, click Save Offering.
